Did You Know? A Short History of Our Bowling Center

• Tenpins & More started life in Rio Rancho in 1983 as Ranchero Bowl.
• Bowling business veteran, Steve Mackie, an Australian, purchased the Center in December, 1999, bringing with him more than 40 years operating experience in the industry.
• He is married to Albuquerque’s Dana Miller-Mackie, the best-known professional bowler in the state of New Mexico.
• Brother-in-law pro-bowler, Mike Miller, is a co-owner and runs the Pro-Shop, offering coaching lessons at the Center at certain times.
• There are more than 30 full and part-time employees ready to help you enjoy your bowling every time you visit.
• More than $750,000 has so far been spent on numerous equipment and facility upgrades.
• We run it all – not only the Pro-Shop, but also the Snack Bar and new-look sports lounge that often has karaoke entertainment, along with TV sports on 13 screens, and weekly Poker tournaments every Sunday afternoon.
